Challenge:

As agency of record for Natural Grocers (NG) by Vitamin Cottage, NG wanted to do a big interactive partnership that would make an impact in the Denver community and help drive traffic in their 30 Denver locations. Secondary goal was to help promote the NG core values of healthy living to new patrons.

Solutions:

  • RMI introduced NG with John Elway Dealerships (JED) of Denver for a partnership in January 2018. They agreed to partner on the Big Game Big Win sweepstakes where guests were asked to go to a JED or NG locations to enter to win a 3-year lease on a brand new Cadillac ATS, Jeep Renegade or Chevy Volt (or cash prize).
  • Three vehicles were wrapped and traveled around the Denver area NG store locations, shopping malls, health clubs, and citywide festivals during promotional window to build momentum and brand awareness.
  • Revolution Media secured a three month radio campaign, OOH, and added value opportunities to help promote the sweepstakes to the Denver community. Radio spots were voiced by John Elway himself. John Elway also appeared in all promotional materials for the sweepstakes including Bulletins and standees.

Success:

  • The promotion was a success and made waves in the Denver community. Both parties received press about the promotion and saw increase of sales as a result.
