President & CEO

When starting Revolution Media, Mike had a vision to create the strategic agency he wanted as a client-side marketer.

Mike has made this vision a reality, shaping Revolution Media to deliver the personal attention of boutique agency, the negotiating power and reach of a major firm, all while focusing on collaboration at every level. He fosters a culture based on this client-side ethos, developing a team that goes beyond the call to support clients through the pressures of achieving business goals. Mike knows that even while managing multi-million dollar budgets, it’s essential to do more with less. His conviction and work ethic motivates us to never stop reaching.

When beginning his career in the publicity department of the Los Angeles Dodgers, Mike first discovered the power of media and a passion for finding creative strategies before the competition. He then became the VP of Marketing Communications for Guitar Center. He and his department of twenty-two employees became an essential part of Guitar Center’s corporate growth strategy. Mike and his team were instrumental when growing from 17 retail locations in eight markets to 80 in 46 markets and sales over $650 million. His value to Guitar Center was further proven when they became the first client of Revolution Media upon his departure.

+ Christine Mares
SVP, Associate Managing Director

Christine is not only the resident athlete and long distance runner, she is equally devoted to our clients, ensuring every client gets the ideal media plan backed by stellar service.

As our Managing Director, Christine drives the strategy and execution of all media-related services. She also sets the tone for the level of service we provide. Leading by example, she inspires us to build strong relationships, make things happen, and always deliver as promised. While she’s looking at the big picture, she doesn’t lose sight of the details — she monitors daily progress across her portfolio of accounts and continuously keeps clients up to date.

Having spent more than 25 years in retail advertising, Christine doesn’t simply understand the client’s point of view — she’s lived it. In her tenure at retail giant Robinsons-May she was responsible for strategic planning and placement of over $50 million in multi-cultural advertising. Her experience covers everything from broadcast, digital, cinema, direct response, print and OOH. This gives her incredible perspective on how to integrate and layer media for maximum results.

Christine values every client’s business as if it were her own, and loves nothing more than helping them solve their challenges. If you’ve got a marketing challenge, she’s all ears.

 


+ Darrin Sarto
VP, Client Services/Digital

Darrin Sarto heads up client services and business development for Revolution Media.

Darrin has a knack for analytics and brand stewardship and drives critical initiatives across our business. He believes that no two clients are the same and his account responsibilities include conducting research, analyzing markets, and integrating marketing plans to optimize spending for our clients and partners. Darrin is an energetic and creative leader who leads efforts that include seeking out new media opportunities, experiential programs and added value promotions. He is an expert media professional who also oversees our digital, mobile and search programs.

Previously, Darrin led sales for Brand In The Hand, an in-flight advertising startup, and Prescriptive Music, a background music service. This followed 18 years in radio, leading sales and management for English and Spanish language properties including XM Satellite Radio, Univision, Clear Channel and  D&R Radio.. His radio-side experience provides our team with invaluable insights that inform our media strategies.


+ Rob Quinn
VP, Denver Account Services

Rob has lived in the greater Denver area for the past 23 years and enjoys skiing in the winter and racing his mountain bike in the summer. He channels over 25 years of media experience to his regional position at Revolution Media.

In addition to a rock solid understanding of traditional media, Rob’s experience in Digital with Denver-based Nativerank digital media is a strong asset as our advertising world evolves.

Client satisfaction and results are Quinn’s trademark focus. Rob’s been involved with radio, TV and event production for the past 20 years in Denver working with Century Communications, Excel Communications, Entravision and Cumulus Media.

Prior to moving to Denver, Rob worked at legendary San Diego radio stations 91X and XTRA SPORTS for 12 years. During that time Quinn also managed the broadcast sales for the Los Angeles Kings and San Diego Chargers.


+ Sunny Yun
Broadcast Director

Sunny is a born negotiator, passionate about making the strongest broadcast buy whether a client is spending millions or pennies.

The results speak for themselves — her long list of successful efforts include helping Pick and Pull increase their calls by 267% over two years, California Science Center achieve record-breaking attendance with the Dead Sea Scrolls exhibit, and FELD Entertainment sell out shows for Motorsports two years running. Beyond making the deal, Sunny thrives on the immediate feedback and results. For every project in flight, she meticulously monitors performance and works with stations to make sure schedules run in full.

Sunny’s earlier experience includes blue chip agencies Deutsch and Foote, Cone & Belding. As VP, Associate Broadcast Director at Deutsch, she directed and executed integrated campaigns for an array of clients including Mitsubishi, Saturn, Expedia, DirecTV, Bank of America, Ikea, Snapple, and Sports Authority.

After spending time in big agencies, Sunny values the close relationships she has with her team and clients at Revolution Media. She shows her love with fantastic baked goods — we’ll be sure to save you a piece.


+ Candis Sucher
Digital Media

Candis Sucher keeps us ahead of continual changes in digital media and over the airwaves.

Candis is an instrumental part of Revolution Media’s digital capabilities. Candis continues to lead conversations about the convergence between television and online video. Despite her specialization, Candis is no stranger to buying print and out-of-home. This broad perspective allows her to direct campaigns that place the client exactly where they need to be, regardless of media.

Candis began her career in broadcast buying. However, her ability to recognize digital’s potential early on and understanding its commonalities with broadcast makes her an integral part of the client services team.   Prior to Revolution Media she worked with Deutsch LA on Saturn, DirectTV, CiCi’s Pizza and United Healthcare accounts. Before that she worked at Media Edge (Group M) with Paramount, Jaguar, Toys R Us, Chanel, AT&T, Macy’s, and Land Rover.

+ Jacqueline Mark
VP, Hybrid Media

As our hybrid media pro, Jackie designs for flexibility and cost savings to make the most of every marketing plan.

Jackie is responsible for the planning, negotiating and buying for all hybrid/direct response accounts. Beyond hybrid, her deep expertise in network and national cable, satellite, and syndication deals are an asset to all of our clients. She approaches her work with a spirit of curiosity and generosity, looking laterally for inventive placement opportunities while she creates a warm, positive experience for her team and clients alike. She’s equally curious in the pursuit of great stories — if you have a book recommendation, send it her way.

Jackie has more than two decades of media experience, including VP positions with Bullpen Integrated Marketing and InterMedia Advertising. While at InterMedia, she initiated a hybrid media program for Clorox then transitioned her role to oversee the external agencies as a consultant. This was one of many past experiences giving her a ring-side seat to an array of best practices across the industry. Jackie’s work has contributed to the growth of household names including Hoover, Clorox, the U.S. Army, Public Storage, Blistex, and the L.A. Times.

The long-standing, close relationships Jackie has cultivated with cable partners brings deals to the table that can’t be beat. You’ll want her on your team.


+ Shelly Silveri
SVP, Finance & Operations

Shelly is our operations and finance guru. She takes care of us so we can take care of you.

Possessing fierce attention to detail and the patience to get things right, Shelly is a wizard at setting up systems — even her wine collection is impressively organized. Under her guidance, our billing and payment processes could not run more smoothly, yet one more way we build trust with our clients as well as our partners. Thanks to her leadership, our business and our people perform better every day.

Prior to joining Revolution Media, Shelly was the VP of Finance for ExED, where she oversaw business operations for charter schools. Previously, she was the Director of Finance for the Los Angeles Daily News, where she managed a $95M budget. Shelly earned her financial stripes at consulting giants Ernst & Young, CapGemini, and Accenture — twenty years of unmatched financial management experience that made her the top-notch analyst and strategist she is today.

Shelly has been instrumental in helping our business expand, and she loves being a part of making that same extraordinary growth happen for our clients.

Alex has left his mark at a long list of leading marketing and media organizations including Digitas, WPP/Bates Worldwide and Turner Broadcasting System. Through his work, Alex has impacted the growth of a wide array of brands across diverse industries and markets such as Coca-Cola, Cartoon Network, CNN, Pollo Tropical, POWERADE, Minute Maid, Vitaminwater, Jack Daniel’s, MillerCoors and Mercedes-Benz.


+ David Koenig
Chief Technology Officer

I can build anything. I love finding solutions for things that waste time in the workplace, and automating tasks to enhance workflow efficiency. I have always been able to take ideas to reality in very short periods of time, and can manage large groups of programming assets simultaneously. There have been very consistent themes throughout my two and a half decades of experience as a CEO and CTO. The chronology of my career is non-traditional, as I’ve often been running and building multiple ventures simultaneously. I have a diverse background spanning software development and Web back-end development, team leadership, financial management, and business strategy.

Recently I have developed and managed new technology for the company including building out a state of the art contract processing center dedicated to acquiring signed contracts for the legal industry. Built out a cutting edge in-house print division to manufacture dynamic marketing materials, and full bleed short run industry reference guides. Always developing and testing new ideas to add growth to the company, diversify, and grow revenue.
